Top 3 Reasons You Should Start Wearing a Jumpsuit

In a world full of fast-changing fashion trends, trying to keep up can be almost impossible. Sometimes it’s hard to look your best and be stylish. Luckily, there are a lot of options out there now! One of the best choices is a seemingly-simple jumpsuit. Don’t be deceived though!

Jumpsuits are totally in-style right now. They’re a great choice for your closet.  While there are a lot of reasons, let me explain my top three reasons.  If you’re not sure or not sold yet, keep reading!

  1. Jumpsuits are Comfortable

One of my top priorities in my clothing is that it’s comfortable to wear almost anywhere.  Jumpsuits were first designed for jumping out of airplanes! Eventually they were adopted by women workers during World War II as well, as Vogue explains here, https://www.vogue.fr/fashion/article/vogues-fashion-encyclopedia-the-jumpsuit! This history certainly explains why jumpsuits are oh-so-comfortable.

A great perk of jumpsuits is they’re breathable and easy to move around in. Definitely a great way to add coziness to your wardrobe! That’s why I always include them in my closet. If I’m looking to conquer the day in comfort while looking my best, I reach for one. I would recommend checking one out!

  1. Jumpsuits Come in a Lot of Variety

Jumpsuits are versatile. The number of styles is nearly endless. If you’re looking for some examples, visit this page to see this variety in jumpsuit styles! While long and flowy jumpsuits are my favorite, there are plenty of other types. For spring and summer, they come in short-sleeve varieties.  Some even come with shorts!

In the cold months, it might seem scary to pick one of them. A lot of the time they have flowy, sheer fabric. Don’t worry, though! There are plenty of jumpsuits tailored for the cold. Be they fleece-lined or made of sturdy fabric, you can almost never go wrong.

You can even dress for the occasion in a jumpsuit! They are classy enough to wear to a job interview or work event. You can lounge around your home in one! You can even enjoy your date night in them. The possibilities are endless. It’s all about the styling, which is why my nest reason is…

  1. You Can Style Them in a Ton of Ways

Perhaps the best part about jumpsuits is the endless styling possibilities. Sometimes it can be hard to know where to start.  Should I pair this jumpsuit with a sweater? With a belt? Luckily, there are helpful guides on how to do this, like seen here. If you’re uncertain about wearing jumpsuits, it’s good to see examples!

Of course, not all of us need those tips. That being said, I think they’re helpful. When I first started wearing jumpsuits, I was clueless.  Who knows how to style them? The only examples I had were moves from the 70s and 80s. Now, they’re back in fashion, and we have new trends!

Workday

For a work day, you can wear a simple-colored jumpsuit. Black, white, or beige are all great picks. You can add a cardigan, sweater, or flannel covering if the office is cold. Add some accessories like earrings or a bracelet and you’re all set for the office!

At Home

If you’re doing chores or work around the house and want to be comfortable, you can hardly go wrong with wearing one. A short-sleeved or sleeveless piece is great for this. Obviously, it requires no accessories. Thanks to the ease of jumpsuits, you can get all your work done and still be cozy.

Date Night

As for date night, a jumpsuit with a V-neck is a great choice. It’s flirty and fun.  With a cute handbag and jewelry, you can dress up any of them into the perfect outfit for a fun evening. So many options for one type of garment – that’s probably why they’re always in style!

In Conclusion?

Jumpsuits are a great pick for almost any occasion. Whether you’re looking for style, comfort, or a little bit of both, you can’t go wrong! Try pairing yours with a cute pair of shoes, accessories, or a nice handbag.  Either way, you’ll be comfortable and stylish in any season.
