How to wash converse yourself at home

You love your converse but it gets dirty quite often and you don’t know how to wash converse.   • Vinegar (1 tablespoon).
  • Baking soda (1 tablespoon).
  • Hot water (1 tablespoon).

Create a mixture using 1 tablespoon of baking soda, vinegar, and hot water. Mix it well until you will get a paste-like substance. On the other hand, drown your converse shoes in a cold water-filled bowl or basin to wet them completely.

Now, use a toothbrush to distribute the paste around the converse and scrub in a circular motion. Also, make sure you have covered the entire converse. Later, rinse them off by using a damp cloth or white paper towel for removing the paste mixture. While rinsing the converse in warm water make sure you clean all the dirty suds out of it.

Wash converse using Toothpaste and Toothbrush

This toothpaste cleaning trick for washing a converse is effective on various occasions. Try this simple method, if the above methods are not working for you.

Here, you will only need 2 things:

  1. A non-gel white toothpaste
  2. An old toothbrush.

Apply enough amount of non-gel white toothpaste to clean all the dirt from your converse and for at least ten minutes let it sit. Then, rinse it off with warm water and let your converse air-dry to dry completely.

Wash Converse Laces

You can’t just wash your converse, leave the laces behind dirt and gross. Well, you can always buy new ones but it’s always a good option to clean the old ones.

So, wash them in the washing machine in cold water using mild detergent to clean them thoroughly. Now, soak your laces into a soapy mixture of OxiClean with hot water for 30 minutes. Then rinse and dry it.
