The Three Big Challenges To Undertake On Your Travels Next Year

Is next year going to be a big year for you? Perhaps something has occurred in your life in 2022 that has inspired you to make 2023 the big one. A life changer. One where you’ll undertake the challenge of a lifetime and come through it a better person.

There are many reasons why that may be the case. It may be the last year before you settle down and look to start a family. Perhaps you may have lost a loved one. You may have been suffering from an illness and you’re now looking to get your life back on track.

There are so many reasons why you may wish to go the extra mile next year and come out the other side of it. But what challenges could you be undertaking in 2023?

A marathon

Marathons are popular challenges for people who are looking to find degrees of healthiness back in their lives again. A lot of people who are in recovery from addiction look to challenge themselves in marathons and have a core focus for the year.

Those suffering from prescription drug addiction, for example, may have come out the other side looking to build up their fitness in recovery, and a marathon and the training that comes with it is a great way to do so.

What’s more, they’re amazing to do on your travels, with pretty much every city worldwide having a marathon. They allow you to explore the city on foot, except with crowds cheering you on as you do so! What a great way to go past the Eiffel Tower or Sydney Opera House.

Climb a mountain

Similarly, a mountain climb is another incredibly life changing physical challenge and there are some awesome mountain hikes all around the world, from getting to the top of Kilimanjaro to hiking in Peru and coming across Machu Picchu. They’re experiences you really will never forget.

Gumball Rally

For something a little more exclusive, the Gumball Rally is an incredible experience that sees drivers embark on a 3,000 mile journey across a number of nights, with parties and glamorous events at the end of every day.

In 2022, it’s in the Middle East, while the 2023 event will see entrants have to travel from Toronto to Havana. What a way to see a magnificent part of the world.
