When using nail polish it is a normal matter that carpet gets the nail polish stain because that time your all attention into one place and that is your nail and nail polish. It is true that most of us fully concentrate on the nail and nail polish, not on the nail polish bottle. So there is a possibility to fall the nail polish bottle on the carpet. Don’t be worry this stain is removable just follow how to get nail polish out of the carpet.

Get nail polish out using water, hairspray, rubbing alcohol, brush, cloth, and vacuum

Step 1: Take a little cold water

Step 2: Pour the cold water onto the stained area.

Step 3: Now wait a minute to wet the stained carpet area.

Step 4: Now spay the hairspray on the stain.

Step 5: Wait for a few minutes so that the hairspray incorporated with the nail polish stain

Step 6: Now you can use a little amount of rubbing alcohol on the nail polish stain.

Step 7: Set it for a few minutes but not a long time because with time rubbing alcohol vanish in the air.

Step 8: Now take an old toothbrush and scrub the stain with this brush gently for 2 or 3 minutes.

Step 9: Use cold water when you are scrubbing the stain with the brush.

Step 10: If there remain some then you can use a little bit of non-acetone nail polish remover.

Step 11: After incorporating the non-acetone nail polish remover then again scrub the remaining stain.

Step 12: After removing the whole stain now you need to dry up the wet carpet.

Step 13: To dry up the carpet you can use a clean and dry cloth.

Step 14: Remove water from the carpet as possible as you can.

Step 15: Now run a vacuum on the stained area.

Note: This method is the best to remove the nail polish from the carpet even if the stain is dry.

There are also other methods that can apply as a substitute for the above method. You can use vinegar and baking soda to get the nail polish out of the carpet.

Apply vinegar

You can remove the nail polish stain by using vinegar. Hairspray and nail polish remover aren’t always available at that time you can use vinegar and vinegar is available at home and super shop.

Step 1: Take a sponge or cloth

Step 2: Soak a cloth with vinegar

Step 3: Now place the wet cloth on the stain

Step 4: Set it for 8 to 10 minutes

Step 5: If the stain is dry then sit the cloth more so that dry nail polish become soft

Step 6: When nail polish become soft then scrub it with a brush

Step 7: Now wash the carpet with clean cold water.

Step 8: Dry out the wet carpet by dry cloth or vacuum
